In our company, an issue has come up with Blackberry user and Groupwise mail. Using BES with Groupwise 8
When the user sends an appointment to a team, the receipiants can see and accept it. But somehow without the sender's action, the appointment is marked as cancelled in the logs by the sender.
This has been cancelled without the user's input, and an email has already been sent out to the entire team that the appointment was cancelled by the sender.

I found an older post with a similar issue and it wasn't resolved in the forum.
Hope it's helpful. No one could solve it though.

Did some troubleshooting and testing.
We tested 1 Android and 2 Blackberry devices (one of the effected user and one of another user) and sent appointments, cancelled them, accepted them, etc.
The logs at groupwise show the appointment has been retracted via app (SOAP) when the sending party cancels the appointment.
The exact same message that is on the top of this thread in the screenshot.
This error occured at Feb 19th 11:10pm and the BES logs at that time complain about being unable to pull information from Groupwise.
The Groupwise logs at the same time show high server activity and mail being sent to our support account (for mailbox healthchecks)
So far, one of the reasons could be Human error on the user's part accidentally cancelling the appointment (The cancel happened within 4 minutes of the appointment being sent)
Another reason which we are unsure of is probably the system. Communication between BES and Groupwise was somehow disrupted.

The latest build for GroupWise 8 on Linux, I see it as 103395, which is 8.0.3 HP1.
See if you can upgrade to GroupWise 2012 (latest product release of GroupWise) which is currently at Service Pack 1, Linux build 103731. Soon Service Pack 2 will be shipping at the end of March or early April 2013.
