Got users back on line by reappltiying all of the ad permissions again.

Thanks to knottyrope. Had the same problem after creating a new database and adding an new BB user. After Googling and finding out I had to apply the permissions to the new database and still not being able to activate the user I found this post and dismounting and remounting the database worked.
