Re: Identifying and troubleshooting enterprise activation issues

I just tell the Phone guy here to take care of it now.

But once in a while, when he is out, I have to call.

Re: Identifying and troubleshooting enterprise activation issues

It's often difficult to find solutions on message boards - a lot of messages to read through to find your solution, or a close match.

I have new blackberry devices to add to my BES. One of which is an 8130. I can't get it to activate. I have tried the solutions in this thread. Nothing seems to work. However, two other devices, added last summer, work just fine. No problems noted with them at all. I just can't add new devices. If there's a thread for that, I've missed it.

Re: Identifying and troubleshooting enterprise activation issues

You should really start a new thread, Does your device have the correct data plan, does the edp.dat message get to the users inbox. What troubleshooting steps have you taken?

Agreed

I almost did not look at this thread since it was an old one.

Re: Identifying and troubleshooting enterprise activation issues

My activation problems were handled by our IT firm, but I am having a problem syncing my desktop calendar with my blackberry.  The original sync dumped all of the calendar entries onto my hand held, but they have not been syncing ever since.  Emails is fine and contacts are fine.  No calendar.

Any ideas?

On the handset, go to:

Options - Advanced Options - Host Routing Table

and click Register now, and escape back to the home page.

Wait 2 minutes.

Then go to Options - Advanced options.

Do you have the Option Enterprise Activation?
