Looking for suggestions

Hi,

We currently have two different exchange servers, one uses Exchange 2003 and talks to a BES server for one company, the other server is Exchange 2007 with most users on active sync type phones. At some point in the future both companies will operate on one Exchange Server which will talk to the BES server but till then I need a solution as teh BES server will only work with one domain name. The older active sync phones are starting to fail and I would like to replace with BB pearl type units. Some of the users of these phones do not have desktop computers but laptops which are hookedup to the network maybe once or twice a week. Before they used the BES here they used to have an application running on the desktop that synced the calendar and Contacts but the email came in over the phone itself. Is this still the best way for me to proceed?

Thank you

JohnH

Re: Looking for suggestions

Can your BES see the users' mailboxes on Exchange 2007 server?  What version BES are you using?  I would try to wireless activate a user with a BlackBerry.  You would not need to hook up your BlackBerry to a computer.  Everything is wireless.

Re: Looking for suggestions

Exchange 2007 resides on DOMAIN_BRAVO

BES and Exchange 2003 reside on DOMAIN_ALPHA

I was informed by people who installed BES that it will not work with two domains.
