We are moving our users from one BES 4.1 to a different BES 4.1. Unfortunately, we already created a new, separate SQL DB on the new server and have users running on it. From what I can find on the support site it appears there is no way to easily migrate the users from the old server to the new one. It appears we will have to wipe each device and then reactivate them on the new server. One of my co-workers wants to try to import the UserConfig table from the old SQL DB to the new SQL DB. I am concerned this will not work and will likely cause more problems than it solves. Is there anyway to do a mass migration from one BES SQL DB to another, or is it one user and device at at time.
Thanks,

There used to be a DB Merge tool
It looks like it has been removed and the KB article (KB10965) is certainly not available any more on the BTSC so I would stay away form doing this. RIM have removed it for a reason.
I would say you need to:
Manually backup the users device using Desktop Manager.
Wipe it.
Restore only the databases you need on the handset using BLackBerry Desktop Manager (Some you cann't restore after they device has been activated).
Activate the handset on the new BES.
This is really a visit as the task is probably to complex for your standard user, may not be an option depending on your environment.
Whilst you do the visit you could install the latest handset code and standardise on a build?
I would definately not import the UserConfig and hope for the bes(t)... It will not work.

DBMerge is no longer supported by RIM due to problems with its use.
I was so excited when I found out about this tool and then so horribly disappointed when RIM decided to not support it.
Its a great tool and would save a whole heck of a lot of work for people migrating / consolidating; its a shame.
