My BES write

BBS001_MAGT_01_20081125_0001.txt

BBS001_MAGT_02_20081125_0001.txt 

why BES don't write only one file? i not understand the meaning of second file.

May be writed BBS001_MAGT_03_20081125_0001.txt or other number?

I believe that is because you have multiple message agents.  It creates a log for each one.

correct they are for multiple agents, 01 and 02 means two messaging agents and it generates one agent for every exchange server. So you must have 2 exchange servers.

'In BES Exchange, since there are multiple messaging agent running on a single box whereas BES Domino only has one messaging agent.  The coding that is used for the messaging agent for the BES is the same for Domino and Exchange for the Dispatcher.  Therefore it will randomly choose a number.'

the log files will goto a maximum of 5 (1 for each exchange server hosting a blackbery users mailbox) after that any exchange server will get added to the other messaging agents whichever is better suited to handling the connection.
