i have a question regarding the required permissions on the old BES-Environment when I have to migrate the BB-User to a new BES 5.0 Server.
What specific Rights are required to move the User?
Thanks in advance!

Just needs to access the BESMgmt database IIRC.

but the Transporter Suite Tools deletes the old User on the old BES, so we need a few permissions to do this, right?
The Problem is, the old environment is not in our company and we don't get to much permissions .
So i have to point out the explicit permissions we need for the move...

You need access to the database to do it. BES is database driven.
you can drop user from database using the following:
1. Open command prompt
2. Type "osql -E"
3. 1>use BESMgmt
5. 1>delete from userconfig where mailboxsmtpaddr=''''

On the Transporter Suite i have to set 2 Accounts:
- One for the OLD Database and
- One for the NEW Database
But i dont get a FULL BESADMIN on the OLD Site. So i need a slim User on the OLD Database, who have only such permissions wicht needed to do a User-Move from the OLD to the NEW BES.
Do I need Owner-Rights on the DB, or Read/Write ? Are special rights needed?

It will need same as besadmin to do the work.
