We are having a some what big puzzle to solve, we hope someone off you can help us.
We have 1 user how complains that he con not file email on his BB9900 to his email folders with his new 9900.
With has not been a problem with his old 8900, and with is no problem for me either on my BB9900.
We have tried to activated him again and give him a different BB9900.
We use Exchange 2007, BES 18.104.22.168 and the firmware on the 9900 7.0.b.2290.
THe most strange thing is under options you can select his Desktop Folder. And his contact and agenda is there.
If you go to view the folders you only see the default BIS folders with is very strange because it is a BES activation.
It seems the email activation keeps going wrong and some item on his mailbox is the cause.
The only thing I can imagine , is that the user has to many folders in his mailbox.

how many folders are being redirected?
exchange has a limit for this, are there any exchange errors present?

Exchange errors? where sould i look for exchange errors?
There are more then 5200 folders present in de user his mailbox.
How can i find this out exactly?

look at the excahnge server logs.
5000 folders is not good. MAPI has some limits with amount of folders.
look at this KB to see what has been redirected.

The KB article posted is nice but the problem is that we don't see the folders off his mailbox.
I wil try to find the MAPI limitations on folder creation on exchange. but no luck so far also no exchange errors in any log file.
His folders aren't underneath his inbox

did you look at http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB04297 at the bottom?
I just added a folder from my device unning OS 7.

I have seen that KB too but that did not help me either.
Everything is working fine, the user receives his emails his calendar works his contacts are there, I can mange him from the bes admin, the only thing that is not working is that on his BB if you choose folder you'll get his bis folder structure instead off his DESKTOP/ outlook/exchange folder structure.
He don't want extra folders to for redirection he just wants to file his emails form his BB in his right Email folders.
We have tried to give him new BB's delete his id multiple times from the BES server nothing helps.
First thing we are going try is to reduce his folders because 5209 folders in you're mailbox is to much for BB but I was hoping to get a conformation here or some KB where this is stated.

Tnx for you're reply but this is'nt the case also becourse the folders are not in his inbox but on his Mailbox there this limit is not an isseu.
still no solution found for this.
