Hi, we are planning to upgrade BES from 4.0.3 to 4.1.4, can anyone let me know step by step setup/upgrade instructions, and will all the users subscribed to BES will effect?

Where can I find the upgrade version download?

To upgrade from 4.0 to 4.1 you must either have TSupport agreement which entitles you to free software upgrades or have access via some other method (through agreement with carrier / etc)

You didn't say if you were using Exchange or Domino ... so I've linked both upgrade guides from http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/docs/.  That said, if you're going to 4.1 SP4, why not go to SP5 or SP6.  At a minimum make sure you apply all of the MRs for SP4.

Sorry, I forgot to mention; yes all users will be impacted.  They're receive updated IT Policies and service books.

Thanks for the info we have buyed the Tsupport agreements for software upgrades yesterday. Will they send us the link where we can download the 4.1 version software and steps to upgrade?how long(time) users will be affected so that we can send a mail to users with estimated time.

Great, contact RIM / TSupport and ask them for a link to download it.  If you have credentials to login to the BTSC you may be able to get it right from there.

I always plan for 4 hours for an update.

The upgrade usually takes about 15-20 minutes including a backup and then a few hours for service books to be sent out and policies to be updated.  Typical user impact is really only 30-45 minutes total.
