Hi,
Do a battery pull restart(pull out the battery when ur BB is ON)...keep it that way for few mins n then again reinsert the battery and let ur BB start...
Now try, u should be able to do reconcillation...

Actually, no, the function Menu key > Reconcile does nothing on a personal BIS account BlackBerry, it does not cause wireless reconcile of messages.
It is there intended for corporate BES users.

hi so how do i delete emails on my bb and so they delete on my pc at the same time???
07-12-2012 07:34 PM
That is is possible, but the "reconcile now" button has nothing to do with it. The deletion reconcile process is automatic within the system, you don't need to click on Reconcile Now to do that.
When you say you want them to delete on your PC, is that in Outlook, or your internet email server, like logging in to Gmail on Yahoo on the webpage?
If you give us more details of your email setup, we can help you figure this out.

If on BES you might need to contact your BESadmin with this info
This will explain a lot about reconcile and hard deletes
KB04863 - Permanent deletion of email messages in Microsoft Outlook does not reconcile to the BlackB...
link in above KB in case you missed it
KB04853 - How to enable hard deletes on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server
I have also changed the messages state size to 1000 and it cured 99% of our issues.
The performance hit and RAM increase is almost nil on the BES box.
On Device also double check:
Make sure that Wireless Reconcile is set to On. Sometimes toggling that to off, saving it, then turning it back on.
Messages Options - Email reconciliation -
Delete on Mailbox and handheld,
wireless reconcile = Yes
On conflicts = Mailbox wins.
If still not working and you moved a user mailbox.

JSanders,
I am a heavy email user and am intermittently between my Berry and my PC. I find when I delete stuff on my GMail account from my browser I just cannot get it reflect on my handset.
This often leaves me disoriented, with way too many unwanted mails to go through on my handset.
Is there a way to fix this and make my handset reflect the server?

Just thought I should add that when I delete an email on my handset it reflects when I refresh on the PC browser.

thats correct, from the browser it can take up to 6 hours before you see the change on device
best to delete on device if the time is too much
See KB05133 for information on email message reconciliation features available with BlackBerry Internet Service.
