emails older than 14 days do not show up on BB after reactivation on enterprise server

Hello

I have a problem with my BB.

It's a company phone and I get my corporate email account synced inbetween Outlook and BB. When my sys admin was troubleshooting my BB he wiped it off and reactivated it. Everything synced fine: calendar, address book and folders in inbox but messages older than 14 days didn't show up on BB. Those old messages are still shown in Outlook.

He later claimed that this is unfixable and there is no way around it.

I have a neat folder system in my inbox and I keep a lot of emails in those folders in order to have access to them on the go. Now I need to stop, open and start laptop, load Outlook... you get the picture...

I was wandering if what sys admin said is trough and it's impossible to change that setting to sync all the imails in inbox at least once to get them on BB.

Or may be I can do sync through the USB wire and via Device Manager (I did look it up but didn't find a way to do it)

thanks upfront

Hi,

This is by design.

You can change the prepopulation settings on the BES to populate the HH with emails older than 14 days...

But he (your BES Admin) has already gone to the max setting (14 days)....
