when I force the users to protect their devices with a password that will be sufficient to protect data in case of flying?
these data will be protected even if the thief changes the chip?

What I can say is that it is not safe because if you put the device password incorrectly more than ten times this will restart and will ask you to write the word Blackberry phone so the factory will return to be without a password.
But all the information that was in the blackberry is lost.

thanks for the replay,
it's not a problem for me if user delete the data, but it is essential that the device data will not be NOT intercepted in case of theft.
that's why i want to know if making a password is enough to protect the BB data if it was stolen?

yes a password will protect it even if they change the SIM card
