We have an application that some users are running via MDS 4.x and MDS 5.x. The application attempts to connect to some end points via HTTPS but the users MDS cannot resolve the host names and this causes an unknownhostexception in the app.
Is this something a BES admin can fix if we provide the host names and IP addresses? Having browsed the forum I am not sure if admins can configure hostname-to-IP lookups.
Any advice as to how to get MDS-based users connecting to the end points would be appreciated - we want to provide instructions to our users (or their admins) to get them running.

if it is an external domain that you need to access internal, you have to ad that site in DNS to point to correct servers.
another issue is when users are not using the BlackBerry browser as default, this is the only browser you can do this too.
