It always says that the backup was unsuccessful. I think 220.127.116.11 worked. I have 32 & 64 bit XP and Windows 8 64 bit systems doesn't work on any of them where as it did in the past. I do have a lot of data to backup as I have Mireo with its Maps (just one uses over 2 Gigs). Maybe it can't handle large files.

What BlackBerry 10 smartphone are you currently using? Also if you do a selective backup in BlackBerry Link and not include applications, does the backup complete successfully?
Follow these steps to do a selective backup:
Click on Settings in BlackBerry Link and click on your BlackBerry at the bottom.
Under Backup place a checkmark for "Select data to include in your backup files" and remove the checkmark for Application data.
Then choose back up now.

I have an AT&T Z10 STL-3 I will try your suggestion. I have software release 10.0.10.116
It generally quits around 70% and the previous versions of link didn't do that.

Unchecking application data (4.61 GByte) worked. Media (2.05 GByte) and Settings (4.5MByte) were backed up. I would of course like to backup everything including application data:smileywink:
