BlackBerry Link crashes when syncing music

I have an 8gig music colletction I'm trying to sync to my Playbook 16g, but Link just stops responding and crashes. Any ideas what might be cuasing this?

Reboots, clean installs, and wipes don't work, problem persists. I would prefer to sync instead of drag and drop in Explorer.

Re: BlackBerry Link crashes when syncing music

Hi bbsuperabuser,

Welcome to the Support Community!
Is BlackBerry Link set to use iTunes or Windows Media Player for your music library?
Do you receive any error message? If so, can you please provide the full error message?
Could you also please verify that you have enough free space available on your BlackBerry PlayBook tablet for the 8GB music library in Settings > About > Hardware?

Re: BlackBerry Link crashes when syncing music

Same problem here but syncing with a Z10.  Happens over both USB and wifi.

Using BB Link 1.0.0.76 on Win7, and the Z10 has a 64gb Sandisk microSD card.  Total of 7000 songs in my iTunes library.  Checking task mgr on windows you can see the Blackberry app takes more and more memory until it finally crashes and chews up all CPU cycles.  Doesnt do more than 1000 songs before it crashes.

Seems to be a bad memory leak.  Wasn't this software tested with librarys over a few thousand songs???
