BlackBerry Link wasn't able to load your music library

I'm having this problem trying to get music on my wife's Z10.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled Link to no avail.  I know I'm not the only one having this problem, and I've yet to see a suitable response from Blackberry support.  If this is an issue with the current version of Link, then support needs to let the users know it's being worked on at the very least.

 

It is tiring to get crickets every time an issue comes up with BlackBerry software (phone, tablet, or PC.) 

 

TECH SUPPORT:  You guys have a great chance to make it big with the new BB offerings.  The Z10 is great.  But, if you can't provide meaningful information regarding issues with important functionality, then the company's chances for success will suffer.

Can you provide a detailed description of your issue?

If you are receiving an error message, can you provide the full error message?

What is the full version of your operating system?

Are you using a PC or Laptop?

When I am in the link software and I click on music to load music on my Z10, I get the error message that is in the subject of my post. I have chosen iTunes as my music library. My operating system is Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1 on a desktop PC. My version of iTunes is 11.0.2.26. Thank you so much for your help. David

I just downloaded BB Link for my new Z10 and have the same issue...chose itunes and no music is found within link and there is no "add folder" option under music.

When I downloaded and installed BB Link on the desktop, it allowed me to update the Z10...I rebooted it and retried the ability to do music and it is still the same...no folder to add location within music like videos, etc have...

 

I am on software release 10.0.10.116

 

At least the reboot of the Z10 is now playing the videos i put on it...:Clap:

Still not an answer I see...I tried the updated BB Link, 1.1, and it still doesn't recognize music or have the ability to add a folder like videos, documents, etc...

The problem discussed is on the known problem list

I have the same problem .. and more relating to Music sync

 

The 'technical support' person who suggested that the Z10 had to be re-initialized should be fired.

the problem has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE Z10: it is related to the computer

HB, I installed the recently released version of Link. I get a different message now, similar to, "There are no songs in your iTunes library." Still not working. Thanks David
