BlackBerry Link runs fine on my laptop while on my corporate network, but when I'm away from the network it won't start. Our domain policy enforces roaming profiles and folder redirection so I'm wondering if that's the cause?
I had the exact same problem with BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

Hey nsimpson,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Thanks for the question.
The domain policy definitely sounds like it could be causing an issue. Do you get any specific errors when you try to open BlackBerry Link when you're not connected to the corporate network? Also can you install applications when you're away from the corporate network? Also is the application installed to a network drive or your local hard drive?
I look forward to your reply.
Cheers.

I have been able to install many programs while disconnected from the network without issue. BlackBerry link is installed to my local drive.
I checked the application event log and a DirectoryNotFoundException is being thrown, which makes sense I guess being disconnected from the network and all. The last entry in the call stack is:
