After downloading, installing and running Blackberry Link on my Windows7 Asus K53T laptop, all went well as far as restoring the data from my previous device (Bold 9780) and then syncing all of my media. The problem showed up when I attempted to close the program. The only way was, and still is, by using the Task Manager.
So, thinking I had a bad install, I uninstalled it, reinstalled it but to no avail. The same issue is still there.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

No, I do not get any errors when trying to close BB Link on the laptop. I click on the X in the upper right corner and nothing. I right click on the task bar app and select close, and nothing.
I have to use Task Mgr, and then "force" the app to close.

When I start Task Mgr, the status of BB Link is 'Running'. When I highlight it and select 'End Process' then, yes, it does indicate that Link is 'Not Responding' and I have to force it to shut down.

Well, I reloaded Link for the 3rd time today and low and behold, it shuts down properly. I just can't sync my iTunes with it.
Thanks everyone that contributed to this thread.

I think its problem in your computer RAM, LINK makes the prosess slow as it tooks more space in memory.
