Blackberry Link 184.108.40.206 crashes when trying to sync contacts and calendar with Outlook 2010.
Link will indicate "Getting status information ..." on the device tab. It will get about half way and then Link will crash. "Blackberry Link has stopped working" message will appear on screen.
Windows 7 OS
Device: Blackberry Q10. Software release: 10.1.0.238 OS version: 10.1.0.1438
It will do a backup (finally)
I have removed and re-installed Link software twice.
I've been working on this for hours. It should not be this difficult.

Thank you very much for your reply to my dilema.
I finally had opportunity to perform the procedures recommended in your link. Unfortunately the only thing I can do with Blackberry Link is backup the phone.
It still won't sync with outlook - Link still crashes.
It wont even do a software update. I get 2 error messages..
1 - There was a problem accessing the drive(s) on this device. Disconnect and reconnect your device and try again.
2 - A fatal error has occured while updating your device's software Please try again.
Thank you again for your and anyone's assistance in this matter.
PS - Am I the only one having these problems. So frustrating.. It would be really nice if things just worked.
