I have repeatedly tried to install Link ver. 1.1.0.33 - it goes through the update process but when I restart I have ver 1.0.1.12

Therefore I continually have the update message required. I am running Windows 7, using Trend Micro for security. The file downloads, the installer seems to work and it shows finished but the  version  does not change

Re: Link

Hey bthomson,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

Thanks for the question.

I would suggest uninstalling BlackBerry Link from Control Panel>Programs and Features and then restart the PC. Then proceed with downloading BlackBerry Link by going to www.blackberry.com/desktop

Let me know if you still experience the same issue.

I look forward to your reply.

Cheers.

Re: Link

Ver 1.1 has successfully installed after I used Control panel to remove the previous one.
