Re: Problem Installing Blackberry Link Windows Vista 64

Despite the apparent problem with the installation of Blackberry Link, I've found that it did actually install as I discovered when I clicked on the BlackbBerry Link shortcut on my desktop.  Therefore if you have installation problems it is worth trying to run the software even if you've received a message that it hasn't been installed!

Hello ksmooth,

what happens when you try to download it?
where do you download it from, and using which software?

I even removed bb desktop software thinking that was the problem but that's not the case.  Still nothing.

Re: Problem Installing Blackberry Link Windows Vista 64

I did not have any issue downloading the install file, Win7 using Mozilla Firefox.

which browser? which URL? do you know if your antivirus blocked the download for some reason?

Re: Problem Installing Blackberry Link on Windows 8

[ Edited ]

I have a similar problem - trying to instal Link software on a Windows 8 PC that already has Blackberry Desktop installed for my previous Blackberry. The instalation stalls out (for the 2nd time) and freezes my computer. The error message the last time was "Rim Tunnel Driver - Windows blocked the instalation of a digitally unsigned driver. Uninstal the program or device that uses the driver and check the publisher website for a digitally signed version of the driver".

I am desperate for a solution so that I can transfer my contacts to my new phone. Any suggestions?
