I would start with a security wipe on the Z10. Swipe down from the top on the home screen - go to settings - security and privacy - then security wipe. This may take a few minutes.

 

Download and install Blackberry Link:

On your Curve go to menu - setup - SIM Contacts Sync.

 

 

When you complete the above steps, launch Blackberry Link on your computer and connect the Curve first and follow then prompts. Please provide a detailed account of any step you get stuck at.

I have tried all that. I have spoke with tech support with my carrier and BlackBerry (RIM) for 6 hrs. I have done a security sweep on the Z10, un installed and reinstalled both blackberry desktop and link software on my computer. Nothing seems to work. What good is having a blackberry without BBM.

I had the same problem...I cancelled the BIS service I was using before...registerd for new BIS service...I was using BIS 49 plan and i upgrade to B79...(uae .etisalat) and restarted the phone...and now can use BBM without wifi.....

HI This happened to me.   I fixed it by turning on Blackberry Protect??  Not sure why that might have been an issue - but it worked for me.

I am having the same issue.

I just bought my Z10 & went through the setup.

When I click on the BBM icon, the program opens then closes.

When I open Hub, click on BBM & Compose, nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong?
OS is 10.2.1.176
