Wireless Connection Still Not Working

I still can't get the wireless synch to work. I have the BB connected to a power source and they are both on the same network in my office. I can see the IP address for the BB and ping it successfully from my host computer. BB is running and my BB Z10 shows my computer as a paired host. But no connection is ever made.

The only clue I have now is that I get a notification on my BB that says " you need to update your account password for HOSTNAME"

 

Where and what password is that ?

Hi,

   Why can't you try using blackberry desktop software LINK. I think your office network allows with the password, contact network administrator of your company, it may help you.

I do use blackberry link software. It works with a USB cable and WIFI disabled but I want to get rid if the need for the cable. Also I often forget to turn wifi back on when I am done!

Hi,

   Run the Link software, make sure wifi in blackberry is turn on and in Link software at bottom right you will find button to select your blackberry device.

Pls help I can,t browse if I wan to it apear dat my phone need wifi conection I should ensure dat wifi active I don't known how to do it pls help

To turn wifi in your phone goto settings , network connections and turn on wifi. In the desktop software goto settings and click the check box to connect your device with wifi.
