Lost my screen on trying to back up on pc. it is asking me for a pin ? :s  i have a z10  screen lost due to water damage

It could be simply asking for the four digit PIN which is used to lock the SIM card.

 

Normally, the device PIN (eight alpha/numeric characters) is automatically recognized by Link.
