'not a valid Win32 application'

I'm trying to install BlackBerry Link. After downloading, I get the following error message when I try to install: '110_b042_multilanguage.exe is not a valid Win32 application'. Can someone help please? Thanks

Re: 'not a valid Win32 application'

Hi and Welcome to the Community!

Several questions...

1) You list, in your profile here, your Device as a 9900 -- as such, Link is not useful to you except in the case of transitioning to a BB10 device

2) For that error message, I only find one KB:

  • KB03490 Internal Error 2738. Could not access VBscript appears when installing BlackBerry Desktop Manager
  • But it applies to Desktop Manager, not Link. Nevertheless, perhaps the remedies it suggests will work for you?

3) Have you checked your computer against the system requirements for Link?

Good luck and let us know!
