Re: "Configure" grayed out in Contacts & Calendar Sync. Not able to click to set up 2-way sync.

Did you call your service provider for support, or if they are no help, call BB support directly?  For the amount of frustration I went through, and that you must be feeling at this stage, the fee they (BB) may charge (but did not for me) would be worth it.  Good luck.

Re: "Configure" grayed out in Contacts & Calendar Sync. Not able to click to set up 2-way sync.

See this website - http://ca.blackberry.com/support/programs/technical/existing-customers.html - Under telephone support, I selected Canada and the phone number is 1-877-255-2377.  The automated menu provided an option (#2) for "incident based support" and I chose that one.  However, again, I remind you that I was told that I was technically supposed to call my cell phone service provider (Bell, in my case), who is responsible for resolving my issues and would iincur the costs.  I was lucky and got my support.

Thanks, but I'm in Malaysia and there is no tel support here. I've not tried contacting my service provider because I suspect they will be no help really. However, there are some Blackberry Expert Centres around and I'll probably try them. If they can't solve my issues, then I'll try my service provider. Fingers crossed that they'll be able to help. Otherwise, I guess you'll be hearing from me again.

Celcom should provide techincal support and give you an escalation to BlackBerry technical support.

If you don't call and ask, you won't know.

Re: "Configure" grayed out in Contacts & Calendar Sync. Not able to click to set up 2-way sync.

Hi,

I have the same problem.  I check all the prior communications but so far no solution.  Does anybody got the solution for this.

I was using 9860 and switched to Z10.  I removed the old BDM and also remove the BLink 2 times and reinstall still the config button is greyed.

Last time I sync my contacts with Windows Contact.

Any suggestions or work around?

I don't believe Link will sync to Windows Contacts, I don't see it listed here for syncing.

Re: "Configure" grayed out in Contacts & Calendar Sync. Not able to click to set up 2-way sync.

I found that with i5 2.1 Gig computer and with 8 gigs ram, that it too link alot longer to load than the previous desktop software.

Initially my contacts and calandars were greyed out, but I let it run for 15 minutes with the device plugged in and it eventually made these fields editable to me.  I think its just a very poorly written piece of software.

Re: "Configure" grayed out in Contacts & Calendar Sync. Not able to click to set up 2-way sync.

I just bought a Q10 to replace my Torch 9810 because of the MS Outlook Sync capability. To my great disappointment and frustration (after a few attempts to reinstall both the devise OS and the BB Link on my computer), the sync is still grayed out on BB Link. RIM must quickly solve this problem!

Is your version of Outlook supported?
