Hi Everyone,
I am trying to setup and iphone, connected via UDS with an Active Sync profile. I have created the profile and applied it to the user.
The issue i have, is i cannot find any Mobile Fusion Client documentation anywhere, so i can create a profile but i do not know what to do on the device?
I kind of expected the Mobile Fusion Client to create me a new e-mail account on the iPhone based on the Active Sync profile i created, but it hasnt. Or, when i go to create an Exchange e-mail account, present me with the settings, but it doesnt?
Any help, helping me understand just how this should work, would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks
Paul

hey paul,
normally the password field pops up and the mail account get configured by hiself. have a look at settings, general, profiles. how many profiles are in there and witch.
BlackBerry Mobile Fusion? and normally there must be the IT-Policy and the EAS (this is for mail).
bye liakidis

Hi Liakidis,
I see, i only have "Blackberry Mobile Fusion" as a profile, and no others.
I am presuming then that my iPhone hasnt downloaded the I.T Policy or the EAS Profile. Everything looks ok, there are no big flashing errors
... the device activated ok.
Where is the best place to look for issues?

ok. there must be (in your case) at least 3 profiles. BBMF+IT-Policy+EAS.
The best way to have a look to the logs is C:\Program Files (x86)\Research In Motion\Universal Device Service\Logs\Core...
Did you open port 2195 from the UDS-Server to gateway.push.apple.com? test it with telnet. had the same issue. this solved my problem. atm my activation takes more than 4 hours but this is not normal.

Hi,
There were some errors in the logs regarding ssl keys, i noticed a post earlier that mentioned setting permissions on the Apple Certs, so i have done this and re-activated the device. Still no profiles but also no errors in the logs, so ill give it a bit of time.
By the way, i had access to the endpoints you mentioned..

did you try: run-->mmc-->cert snapin
personal, certfificates APSP:key...all tasks, manage private keys, authenticated users read permission?

Yes thats what i did, then re-activated.
It looks a bit more promising now actually, i didnt notice before it hadnt picked up my Phone Number, or Internal Storage use, whereas now it has.... Still no profiles, its been about 12 minutes i think... ill report back..
