Hi together,

how to configure webproxy configuration in BDS?

Actually my playbook isn't able to reload html embedded pictures. I always get an X instead of the embedded pictures if I choose to reload all embedded pictures. Probably because of missing webproxy configuration on BDS. Our BDS has to use a webproxy, it isn't able to connect directly to the internet. So how can I configure this?

Hi,

I have this problem too. Playbook Users do not understand why the have to use the work browser for internal ressources and the native browser for internet access. This could be solved by a web proxy setting in BDS.

Well, seems that nobody here has an idea.

I found that if someone sends me an link to a website in an email to my business email address, I can not view this web site. This is because the playbook tries to open the link with the work browser, but the MDS at the BDS-Machine has no proxy information. And there is no chance to copy the link in to the standard browser, this is prevented by blackberry balance. Very odd...

Possible solution: set a transparent proxy for the bds-server to access the internet. Our security staff will be very happy with this
