Hey Friends,

I need your help. My text messages are now automatically deleted even though my memory is not full. The weird is the names of the senders are still on the list but when you open them one by one the messages are gone. The ones automatically deleted are not even old text messages, they are just 4 days old. The names are also in color green. I hate deleting important text messages.

Hello Ajo and welcome to the Community!

There is an option inside Messages to set "Days to Keep Messages" to "Forever" or from 15 to 180 days in increments of 30.

Go to Messages (not Text Messaging) > Press Menu > Options > Message Display and Actions > scroll down to Days To Keep Messages dropdown. Please remember that this setting will affect all messages integrated in your phone.

Appreciate for your response but i already keep that setting in "Forever" mode, even then this problem occurs.
