This is absurd. SP1 MR 2 was released on October 12. Again, no notification from RIM (and it certainly is not KnottyRope's job to inform us) but there aren't even updated release notes for this! I'm downloading it now, hoping that some useful information is tucked away inside the .exe but the official documentation repository isn't updated to include information about a maintenance release that is now over three weeks old. There's no mention of it whatsoever. Unbelievable.

Where does this information come from? iOS6 was officially supported as of SP1. Did they forget some policies? iOS 6.0.1 is out now, I'm assuming MR2 still won't recognize it though?

Very good, thank you! Are there Release Notes for this available anywhere? I need to know if there are any new Known Issues.

Excellent! Thanks for the good news, I'll start backing up my servers to prepare for the install. :-)

If you would like to see which policies were added with 6.1 MR2 you can check the Descriptions of IT policy rules section (Page 36-57) of the Adminstration guide available at:
All policies that were added with MR2 are marked with a note indicating that the rule requires this version of software.
I've gone though the guide and attempted to pull them all out:
Disable cloud picture sharing services IT policy rule
Hide the default messaging application IT policy rule
Hide the default book store IT policy rule
Disable erotica purchases from the default book store IT policy rule
Disable Passbook IT policy rule
Disable Passbook notifications when device is locked IT policy rule
Disable interactive installation of profiles and certificates IT policy rule
Hide the default social-gaming application IT policy rule
Also when creating an ActiveSync profile for IOS devices with MR2 an option to 'Disable synchronizing new recipients to device address book' was added

Awesome, thank you very much! I didn't get far enough thru the Guide to discover the updated information.
