BB PEARL 9105 Cannot turn it on

Who could help me please!! i've got an issue with my bb peral 9105 cannot turn it on. yet I know that the battery is OK and anyway even if I plug it in to charge the battery it doesn't work. when i try to turn it on there's only this small red LED right at the top wich lights up.

Nothing in what you said supports that statement, so it's impossible to know for sure from your post. Hence...please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):

  1. With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
  2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
  3. Remove the battery
  4. Wait 15 minutes
  5. Insert the battery
  6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does

This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.



It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:

  1. Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
  2. Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens

The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.

I did the test yesterday, as it is the solutioan You gave to comeone who had the same issue!! but didn't work!!!

So, you did both portions? The 4hr15m process as well as the battery trade? If so, what was the specific result of the battery trade? If your battery worked fine in another device and a different "known good" battery did not work in your device, then it's your device that is bad, with most likely a hardware problem, for which no amount of internet-distance help can be useful...only in person evaluation by a qualified BB hardware technician can provide you with a proper diagnosis and estimate.

Yes sorry the battery of my device worked properly on another device. and the battery of that other device did not work on my mobile...so that would mean that my device is the real problem.

Yup...that's what that means. So if you are still in warranty, you need to seek support under those terms. If you are not in warranty, you need to find a local (to you) shop with a qualified BB hardware technician to provide you with a proper evaluation and estimate.

Nope. BB can't recommend any specific shop...imagine the liability! Rather, you need to seek out shops that are local to you, and find a technician you trust. It's all between you and them, no one else.
