Backing up or transfering contacts.

I need help, the charger port on my Blackberry Pearl is damaged and I can no longer connect or charge from it. I have half a battery at most so it is sitting in off mode and I need a way to backup or transfer my contacts. I heard I can do this wireless via bluetooth. I was wondering if I could just save everything on my microSD card in the phone or if my only option is to transfer them over bluetooth (I will need to purchase a dongle, and if this is my only option which ones will be compatible) then how would I do so?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I need to get this taken care of by later today.

Thanks,

Anticrawl

Re: Backing up or transfering contacts.

I would suggest you check out google sync, it should sync your contacts over the air.

You can't save your contacts to the media card.

Syncing via bluetooth to your PC is a good option also.

Re: Backing up or transfering contacts.

Thank you for suggesting Google Sync I would have never found that otherwise. Already backed them up with google sync and will do so with blackberry desktop later today.

Re: Backing up or transfering contacts.

Can you help re a similar issue. I want to transfer my bb contacts from my 9780 to my mac book pro, for use in my mac book contact directory. I already back up the handset using desk top manager but I actually want to transfer them straight in to the mac address book. Assistance greatly apreciated.
