I received this as a present sim free 6 months ago, phone has been fine up until now where it is cutting off and resetting itself after every phone call that lasts around 5 min mark.
Can anyone please advise how I can resolve this issue??

OK...then the next step is to check if your device has an OS update available from your carrier. If you are already using DTM, then it should be checking for you and offerring updates. Otherwise, you can check your carriers update site via this portal:

It is usually best to use the update from your carrier -- so if they have an update for you, it would be a good idea to update. Be sure to use the desktop software to do a backup beforehand so that you can restore afterwards.

OK...sooooo...since I've now given you two pieces of advice that you've "already tried", can you please list what else you have also already tried so that we can stop being redundant and hopefully find a solution for you quicker?

I just replied this to another 8220 LEMON post.
Read past postings on this problem. There are thousands of these defective phones around and Blackberry does nothing but keep selling them. When you return them you get a re-manufactured one that does the same thing right out of the box. They blame software but how can that be? I bet there is no Rim employees using these LEMON phones.
