Blackberry Pearl 3G - no ringing when receiving a call

My Blackberry Pearl 3G has no ringtones.  The device does not ring when receiving a call. How do I get the Pearl 3G to ring ? The settings are correct, and volume is on 10. The Pearl vibrates only, with no ringing sound. I have changed the ringtone selection, and yet it does not ring. Please help, thanks, kiwiburgs

Welcome to the forums. 

 

In this case we can try to reload the software on the BlackBerry® smartphone to make sure it is running the latest version and there are no issues with the OS.

Once you have backed up your BlackBerry smartphone please follow the link below to complete a clean reload of the BlackBerry smartphone software.
