I have a 4 year old Pearl, which is not connected to the internet.
When it needed charging, 2 days ago, I suddenly got an error message v545.
I followed instructions to fix the problem and now I have error 507.
I contacted my provider - Orange - and they couldn't help. They sent me to my local shop to have a "Master reset", but that didin't work either since their software couldn't recognise my phone.
I am extremely frustrated. Surely a lightly used 4 year old phone should'nt die like this!
What a waste of money.
I would be extremely grateful if anyone could help me.
It would also be good if someone could tell me how to get hold of an email address for Orange customer service.
Many thanks

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
FYI...the 507 means that there is no OS installed on your BB. That message is actually often quite normal during an OS reload process...sometimes, to reload the OS, the existing OS on the device must be first wiped out, resulting in the 507. What often is needed, at that moment, is merely disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable...quite often, that allows the process to continue.
But, alas, you are not at that stage of anything and, rather, have a 507 error as your general condition. Hence, these articles might prove useful to you:
Often, you must try many many times to connect the BB at the exact correct moment to get it recognized by the Desktop Software/LOADER.EXD. It can be tricky, but if you keep trying, I'm sure you will get it.

There are many carriers in the world called "Orange"...not knowing which specific one is yours, I can't search for you. But, you should be able to search for their Internet site and find all of their contact information there.
Good luck and let us know!
