Blackberry pearl wont restart after reboOT

i am having this problem too. waiting for new BB but in meantime the pearl has my address book!

Am wonderi g if connecting it to Desktop Manager would reinstall its "guts"?

Appreciate any thoughts on this.

I'm a little bit confused...a reboot would have started the device up, but you say it won't restart after a reboot. So I don't understand your situation at all.

 

Nevertheless, to do anything at all with the device, it must start up in some condition or another. So, if it won't start up, connecting it to a computer won't be of any use since they won't be able to communicate with each other if the BB is not running.

 

Maybe I don't understand your situation correctly...can you try again to explain?
