Deleted E-mail or SMS

I mistakenly deleted a E-mail/SMS.  Does anyone know how I can retrieve it?  Is this possible?

SMS are handled by your carrier. It would require a court order to get it from them, but SMS are supposedly kept on their servers for a limited amount of time. If you did a backup of your device before the deletion, you could restore that SMS database back to your BB.

 

Email? Look on your email server, if it was a POP account or such. Not possible if the email was your @blackberry.net address.
