I want to be able to enable and disable WiFi on my pearl. I'm new to blackberry's so i'm struggling on how to find how to turn it off. I've worked out how to disable Bluetooth, but not WiFi.

I want to disable it because i'm not a heavy user of internet access and i'm trying to improve battery life. I'm also assuming i don't need WiFi to recieve my normal emails.

On the Pearl 8120, turning off the Wi-Fi radio can be done by going to Manage Connections (on the Home Screen). Then you can uncheck the box next to Wi-Fi.

Thanks for that.

It was finding the Manage Connections option that was the hard part. There's a Go To icon on the home screen that then takes you to the Manage connections screen. Once i found that it was easy!

The screens on the Orange Network supplied pearl seem to be different from standard.
