I have read the posts, you had said that it was a workaround, and I think it is a very viable solution. I was just wondering what more you wanted in a file explorer?

Yes, it is just a workaorund because you cannot access all the folders and files from there.

What folder can you not see? I see documents, music, pictures, ringtones, videos, and voicenotes.

There are many folders which you can't see in media's explorer. You have to code to see those folders. e.g. /store

One thing that doesn't seem possible is to open a text file for editing from the Media browser.  I enjoy learning new languges and have a file on my media card that I update when I learn new words or phrases.  There is no way, or doesn't seem to be a way, to open the .txt file for editing.

 

One work around is to store the file as a memo in Outlook and update it using memoPad.

Yeah, you're right, we cannot edit the text file from the explorer.
