Has 4.5OS fixed the memory leak issues on the VZW Pearl?

Has 4.5OS fixed the memory leak issues on the VZW Pearl? Any other tips that might help out? I'm familiar with the microSD card and deleting BrickBreaker (you sellouts! haha). Thnx

No, there are still issues that cause your file free available to dwindle (for lack of a better word).

Some is caused by third party applications (I noticed it horribly with Viigo news reader) and some just happens.

Here are several good links to read and consider in the battle against memory leaks and low memory in general.

Look at this way: like monitoring and changing the oil in your car, it takes user interaction occassionaly to manage your automobile maintenance, and the same is true of your BlackBerry. An occiassional tweak or adjustment here, or a simple observant action of pulling the battery to reboot about 1-2x a week will manage the issue.

First thing? Check the File Free at Options > Status, what is the number at File Free? Now, remove the battery of your device, hold a minute, replace and reboot. What is the File Free now?
