Past users email icon is still showing up for me, and I can't seem to find out how to delete it, since its not active I can't seem to get it off of there any help for a bb newbie?

Go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Service Book and delete all the email IDs of the previous user. You need to delete both [CICAL] and [CMIME] that come beside the email ID you're willing to delete.
