I bought my blackberry pearl 8100 about a week ago, and I found a few problems:

-When I plug in the headphones to the phone to listen to music, only one of them works. The headphones are fine, I just bought them a few days ago and they work fine on my other phone.

-When I watch videos, the volume is on max and I can't control it. I tried using the + and - buttons but it doesn't work!

From where did you buy the device? Is it a new device?

Have reset by pulling the battery out. If that doesn't resolve the issue then take the device back to store an get it changed.

I tried the battery thing, didn't work.

What else can i do?

There's no point having 8GB space if i can't listen to music/watch videos normally:/

You can try reinstalling/updating device OS. If that fails then nothing can be done with the phone.
