Re: Hourglass takes forever to go away on Pearl

I've moved all the media on to my card and set it as the default since the beginning.  I remember having similar issues when I first got my BB, but haven't since.  It does happen when I reset my phone, but taking the card out before turning off the phone speeds up the process.

Sorry what is *228?

It updates your software.  Is this really necessary on a BB?

O.K I am new to here. But I am an avid BB user. To clear up some memory go into messages-menu-view folder- phone call logs and delte your phone call logs, you canalso delete old texts etc if they are stored on the phone. This will free up the memory on the phone.
