I can't update my bb Pearl to OS 6, mine is currently on OS 5, but BlackBerry desktop software says no update.\

*edit*i use this, got my network http://us.blackberry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

but, it doesnt work even after i download and install it on pc, the app loader didnt say any update. Can anyone help?

mmmm maybe you should try reinstalling Desktop manager, (uninstall, reboot pc, and install)

Unplug the battery an re try after the smarthphones starts.

Are you connected to Blacberry network?, can you send BBM messages?, If you are not, maybe you could try after connecting to Blacberry network, your network signal should say EDGE, 3G , or GPRS.
