My Reliable Pearl 9100

I have always been a die-hard user of Pearl smartphones.

Of recent, my pearl's address book was multiplied and I now have over 3000 addresses!!!  I will love to delete the multiplication but couldn't do so.

Also, I cannot see the switch device option on my blackberry software to enable me switch my device.

Help and supports needed urgently.

Re: My Reliable Pearl 9100

Hi elkamil

Welcome to BlackBerry Support Forums

Regarding your duplicate contacts issue first do a backup of your Address book to avoid any data loss

.

Then Go to the email account and Turn Off Wireless Contact sync > Open your Address Book Or Contacts > Press the Menu Key > Options > on that Screen type " rset " it may warn you that it will wipe your contacts list > Click Yes to continue .

Once it is done , Go to email account which you're using to sync your Contact list and ENABLE  Wireless Contact Syncronization . It will populate your Address Book back .

Or please refer to this Knowledge Base :

KB19704 : Multiple Address Book contact lists are created on a BlackBerry smartphone causing issues with synchronization

Re: My Reliable Pearl 9100

Hi,
Many thanks for your time and response.
I opened the address book, pressed the Menu key, options ... but couldn't get any screen to type "rset" into.
I have tried this out few times to be sure I wasn't doing anything wrong.
Many thanks ... and will greatly appreciate your further assistance.
