Ok, so while I pride myself on being up to date with the latest and greatest in the tech world for my profession, I'm in the dark ages with phones lol I had a Razr3 and made it last 3.5 years lol so it finally died so grabbed the BB 8110 pearl. And i'm on the fence.
While I know it's a much more robust and beast of a phone compared to my razr3, I'd have thought it wouldn't be such a pain to use, does NOT seem user friendly at all. Granted I've only had it 5 days now. I have some noob questions so bare with me.
1. texting/emailing.
On my razr you'd go to text and it'd be setup nice like, with a inbox, a sent, saved ect ect. On the BB it seems to be all clumped together, with nothing more than a dark/light line to seperate individual texts/emails. Also, can't seem to seperate emails from texts and i get annoyed and just delete my email account cus it's annoying seeing a pop for text and it's 9 emails.
Is there any way to set it up with seperations of the types of email/texts ect ect?
2. Picture and video texting. Again on the old phone, you'd take a picture, save then could just attach or send from the picture. On the BB 8110 I've taken a bunch of pics as we got a big snowstorm and tried sending to family in Cali and nothing ever goes through. If i send an MMS it still doesn't go. BUT, if I send to their email addresses it goes through without an issue. Which makes no sense because it's still an MMS, i'm not compossing it as an email, doing the same steps just sending it to a different address. And if a picture DOES go through and aunt has a BB she gets "blackberry unable to view media"
3. My BB seems to lag like crazy, 5-10 seconds between screens or settings. Is there any way to tweek the performance on this without voiding a warranty or anything?
Those are my major questions so far hahaha Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
