My Device: Blackberry 8120

PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP URGENT

Hi my name is Adriana Proaño I leave in Ecuador, South America and I have a problem with my blackberry I need yor help I buy my blackberry in ebay a month ago is a blackberry 8120 with wifi that is unloked so I can used here in Ecuador. The problem is that I can´t use the Blackberry msn or the Windows Live Messenger, I can´t navegate in the internet unless it is in WIFI and the word "edge" is in lowercase so is a problem of the phone because when I put my sim card in other phone (BB) everything works perfect and it appear "EDGE" like it suppoust be.


 I don´t know what to do or what can it be??? do you have maybe a code that you can send me so I can activate this phone??? or what can I do??

You need THE BlackBerry Data Plan (BIS) subscription from your mobile provider.

 

When you get that provisioned to your account and device, you will get "EDGE" and be able to use many various BlackBerry data features and functions.

BB 81290 supports only Edge after unlocking and that's why you are getting Edge.

The device will only get all caps EDGE once the proper data plan is provisioned.
