I have been looking through the blackberry support forums in search of a solution to a problem I am having while running the CameraDemo example included in the java jde 4.6 for the blackberry 8130. The problem is that the cameraviewfinder api cannot be located and so, an error is thrown out. Specifically speaking, the error goes as follows: "API Failure (DE372) - BlackBerry Device Simulator. An Unsupported API was called: CameraStartVideoViewFinder". I am new to the community in order to seek help if someone has solved this problem or could know of something that could help me with it. I am kind of frustrated since me and my team hasn't been able to solve this problem, when we strongly need the manipulation of the camera to do image processing in real time video mode. The Device Simulator I'm running is from Verizon 4.3 since is the closest to the actual cellphones we have (8130 Pearl from Iusacell). Any posts to this thread are appreciated, in order to know the severity of the issue and how to deal with it.
