Hi,

I have a Blackberry Pearl 3G 9100 on which the camera was working perfectly until a week or so ago when it ceased to be able to zoom using either the central scroll button (up/down - the way I used to do it previously) or by using the volume up/down option (as had been suggested to me).

When the Camera starts, the +/- on the screen indicating the possibilty to zoom is present but disappears quickly.

Are there any other options I could try?

Hey aradua1300,

Try to back up and complete a clean reload of the device software as shown here http://bbry.lv/cG8oer, before you restore any data test to see if you can use the zoom on the camera. If you are not able to once the software reload is done then it is most likely a hardware issue and you are going to want to contact your service provider for options.
