Sending Text Msg to an Email Address

My text messaging service allows me to send text msgs to both cell phone numbers and email addresses.  It always worked on my previous phone (non-blackberry).  However, now that I've updated my phone to a Blackberry, I am unable to do this.  I have the 8220.  When I enter an email address, it wants to switch to the Email feature which is not enabled on my phone.

 

My husband tested his Curve and had the same problem.

 

Does anyone know how to get this to work.  Thanks!

Sorry but i can't understand your question

 

SMS is short message service between two numbers

 

to send a message to an address mail you need to use mail application

 

At least in blackberry devices
